Common Scenarios
Your network uses Check Point firewalls managed via the portal
Monitor Check Point Portal and ThreatCloud. Portal outages prevent firewall management, and ThreatCloud issues reduce threat detection effectiveness.
You use CloudGuard for cloud security
Monitor CloudGuard. CloudGuard outages may affect security policy enforcement across your cloud environments.
Your endpoints are protected by Check Point
Monitor Endpoint Security. Issues with endpoint security can leave workstations and devices temporarily unprotected or unable to update policies.
You use Harmony Connect for secure access
Monitor Harmony Connect. SASE outages can affect remote worker connectivity and secure access to internal resources.
Your email is protected by Check Point Email Security
Monitor Email Security. Email security issues may result in reduced spam filtering or missed threat detection.
Your web applications use Check Point WAF
Monitor WAF (AppSec). WAF outages may leave your web applications temporarily unprotected from web-based attacks.
Why Monitor Security Services?
Security service outages are different from typical SaaS outages:
- They may go unnoticed — A security service outage doesn't break visible functionality, but it reduces your protection
- They create risk windows — During a security service outage, threats may not be detected or blocked
- They require awareness — Your security team needs to know when protective services are degraded so they can implement compensating controls
Monitoring Check Point through Alert24 ensures your team is aware of security service disruptions and can respond appropriately.
