We are investigating an issue where some stations may display a $50 pre-authorization disclosure to all users, regardless of account type. This is a display issue only. Actual pre-authorization amounts remain unchanged: registered ChargePoint drivers are charged the applicable pre-authorization amount, connected users are not subject to a pre-authorization hold, and anonymous users may see a $50 hold. Our teams are actively working on a fix.
Payment Issues Starting a Charging Session with RFID Card in US/CA
