All Plug and Utility Cloud services were unavailable for approximately 32 minutes between 10:59am and 11:31am US Eastern time. This outage was due to a one-off internally run database schema change that overloaded the system and required a system rollback.
Recurring Interval Data Requests Paused for 22 hours and 26 minutes

Recurring interval data requests were paused for a period of approximately 22 hours and 26 minutes starting on August 26, 2025 at 2:40pm Eastern and ending on August 27, 2025 at 1:06pm Eastern. This pause was due to a bug in a database query. The query has been fixed and all recurring interval data requests that came in during the incident began running in the order they were received. First-time requests for interval data were not impacted by this incident, for example the submission of a new credential into Arcadia's system.
Credential outage in Plug

For a period of 2 hours, between 9AM Eastern Time 11AM Eastern Time, customers were unable to add new credentials to Plug. This 2 hour outage also resulted in failed recurring data collection jobs and delays in data updates in Plug. All failed recurring jobs were retried automatically the following day. The outage was caused by a database issue which was fixed on 8/12
