AWS Service Disruption Impacting Support Chat and Homepage

AWS has resolved the underlying issue causing service disruptions. Our affected systems — including the homepage, support chat, and impacted vendor services — have recovered and are now operating normally. Review widgets and review creation were unaffected throughout the incident. We will continue to monitor system stability, but no further impact is expected.

Mar 19, from 5:09am to 5:24am (UTC), our app was severely degraded, temporarily inaccessible for 15 minutes. The root cause was due to a new released feature consuming too much server resources, causing out of memory issues. Our DevOps team immediately turned of the feature and recovered our app to be back online as normal.

Wed Oct 25, from 8:40am to 8:44am (UTC), our app was temporarily inaccessible for 4 minutes. The root cause was due to a recent change, compounded with higher workload at the time, causing out of memory issues. Our DevOps team immediately resolved the issues and brought our app back online as normal.
Partial outage: Significant Degraded Performance

From 7:22 to 7:52, our system experienced a significant degrade in performance, causing ~50% of user requests to take more than 5 seconds to respond. The root cause was due to a memory issue from a recent coding change. We've immediately released a fix for this.
