February 15, 2026 - March 16, 2026 We have identified the error as being caused by a configuration issue in our email processing pipeline that resulted in some incoming email requests being blocked. Due to a configuration change made by a service provider, a portion of inbound email traffic was incorrectly rejected, preventing emails from being processed and delivered to nations. This issue may have impacted multiple nations. As of March 16, 2026, A fix has been implemented to ensure inbound email traffic is properly accepted across all NationBuilder subdomains. Inbound email processing has been restored, and we are monitoring to ensure emails are being received and processed normally. We are reviewing the impacted time window (mid-February through March 16) and evaluating whether any missed inbound emails can be recovered. This issue has been resolved. Inbound emails (including replies to broadcaster addresses) are now being received and processed normally. The issue was caused by a configuration problem in our email processing pipeline that led to some incoming messages being blocked. This has been corrected, and safeguards have been put in place to prevent similar issues in the future. The impact window was approximately mid-February through March 16. We have confirmed that inbound email delivery is functioning as expected and will continue to monitor.
