US & EU: Elevated Errors for iCloud Accounts Due to Ongoing Apple Outage

Apple has confirmed that all iCloud services are now operational following an outage earlier today that impacted several features from roughly 2:36 PM ET to 7:00 PM ET. Our systems are stable, but transient 5XX errors may persist briefly as caches and connections fully recover. Users should experience a return to normal functionality, though signing out and back in can help resolve any lingering issues. This incident has been fully resolved. API v2 error rates have remained stable following the manual failover of the impacted database cluster, and all services are operating normally. Correction: Ongoing Incident - [US & EU][Subprocessor] Elevated 503 Responses Linked to Fastly Disruption

Between 2025-04-08 14:00 PDT and 2025-04-08 18:04 PDT, customers may have experienced intermittent 503 errors across our services. This was due to an upstream incident affecting our subprocessor, Fastly. To mitigate the issue and restore stability, we’ve rerouted impacted traffic from Fastly to Cloudflare. This change has fully resolved the incident. We’re continuing to monitor closely and will conduct a full postmortem to ensure long-term resilience. Thank you for your patience
